TREAT Trading Commences Following Airdrop
Notably, trading opened for TREAT today at 11:00 a.m. (UTC) on Bitget, KuCoin, and Gate.io. These exchanges announced TREAT’s listing last week, followed by deposits, which began immediately following the announcement.
In addition, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team organized an airdrop to distribute TREAT for free to users of these exchangers. Participants required to supply their account IDs and deposit addresses from the exchanges.
Notably, the organization airdropped the tokens to qualified participants an hour before trading officially went live today. Each participant received at least 1,250 TREAT, worth $12.5 at the listed price of $0.01.
Upon debut, the price of TREAT surged to a high of $0.035 on KuCoin and $0.15 on the Bitget crypto platform. At press time, TREAT trades at roughly $0.021 per token on both markets. It has a total supply of 10 billion tokens, with a daily volume reaching $15.7 million.
Shiba Inu Team Hints to Upcoming Rewards for TREAT Holders
As expected, some members of the Shiba Inu ecosystem team took to X to respond to TREAT’s debut. Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, reacted on TREAT’s launch, stating its debut was not simple.
Despite this, Kusama stressed that TREAT has gone live, setting the door for the ‘fun part,’ which involves educating the world about how the Shiba Inu ecosystem is a game changer. He indicated at the future launch of more incentives tied to TREAT.
Interestingly, Shiba Inu marketing head Lucie also had a similar opinion, underlining that “many surprises are on the way.” The marketing lead acknowledged that TREAT’s launch is a phased release, implying that the team will progressively divulge more of the token’s capabilities over time instead of disclosing it all at once.
